Specialty Programs

It doesn't matter what sport you play, Compete Sports Performance will help you reach your goals with our Specialty Programs!

With Compete's Specialty Programs, we focus on giving the athlete the tools they need to excel not just in their given sport, but in their given position. We concentrate heavily on developing the speed, power, agility, and strength needed to excel in that position. Compete currently offers the following Specialy Programs:


Dryland Hockey Programs
This effective dryland program will keep your hockey players strong and competitive. This specialty class is dedicated to enhancing speed, power, and agility on the ice as you prepare to play at the next level. The program includes:
  • mobility and flexibility
  • speed and acceleration training
  • strength and weight training
  • functional core and stability training
  • conditioning
  • recovery programs 
  • college and junior preparation
Classes are held on Mondays and Thursdays at 6pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am. Monthly cost is $140 per for one session per week, $220 for two session per week, or $280 for unlimited sessions. Unlimited includes use of Recovery Pump and Monthly body weight and body fat testing. Schedule is subject to change. Please contact us to confirm.

Summer Speed and Agility Field Camp

Join Compete Strength Coach Kojo Arhin on the field and become a faster athlete. Speed is one of the most sought after athletic abilities, so separate yourself from your opponents. Camp goals include improving: speed and sprint mechanics, explosiveness and acceleration, quickness and agility. Maximum Group size of 20 Players and is open to high school and college athletes. Camp will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-10am at the Lake Forest Sports Park. Camp will run from June 20-July 27 (11 sessions) and cost is $250.  Register on Competes App. Download it at the app store or click here , create an account for your athlete, then go to buy services to register.



Hockey Skills and Drills Camp

Join Current KHL star and former 1st Round NHL Draft Pick, Jonathon Blum for 30 minutes of stickhandling and shooting on a synthetic sheet of ice followed by 30 minutes of dryland training all at Compete's Lake Forest facility. Improve your stickhandling, shooting power and accuracy and your speed and strength in a small group setting. Group size is 8 players age 8-14 and broken in 2 groups for a 4:1 coach to athlete ratio. Camp will run from June 5th-28 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-6pm. Cost is $250. Post ACL Rehab Program
This program is for all athletes that have completed their rehab after ACL surgery and are ready for their next phase in their return to play. This program focuses on getting the athlete back to competition level by concentrating on regaining overall athletcism in the lower extremities, core strength, functional movements related to your sport. Compete utilizes specific exercises and drills designed to prepare you for a safe return to play and to maintain the strength and stability required to play at a high level while limiting future injuries. 
Cost is $40 per session.

Summer Elite Soccer Program

These high powered sessions are for elite high school, college and pro soccer players that are seeking to enhance their athleticism on the field while preventing injuries. This program is based on the same priniciples owner Chris Phillips has applied to the Los Angeles Sol, Orange County Blues, and many collegiate and professional players. These programs include:

  • speed, acceleration and agility drills
  • weight and strength training
  • functional and stability exercises
  • mobility, flexibility and recovery
  • college and pro season prep including training for pre season testing and lifting techniques 
  • On field training available two times per week

The group will be limited to 12 players. The program will begin on Tuesday, May 30th. Training at Compete will be held Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 10am. Field work will lbe held Tuesdays amd Thursdays from 8:30-9:30am at a local field to be determined. Monthly cost is $140 for 2 Compete sessions per week ($300 with field training), $225  for 3 Compete Sessions per week ($360 with field training).  Contact us for more information.

Lacrosse and Speed Camp

Join the OC Rebels and Compete Sports Performance to become a better lacrosse player. This two hour camp will combine 60 minutes of lacrosse drills and 60 minutes of speed and agility training at the Lake Fores Sports Park. The camp will be open to players 10-14 years old and limited to the first 20 athletes. The camp will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11am and run from June 20-July 27 for a total of 11 sessions Cost is $250. Click here to register.

Mental Performance Training

Compete Sports Performance and Rehab  is now offering mental performance training as part of an overall training program. The goal of mental performance is to improve an athlete’s ability to perform under pressure. As a result the athlete will reach a higher level of performance, feel more confident in their ability to perform in their sport, improve their ability to deal with adversity, improve self-regulation and improve their ability to concentrate through distractions. These one on one sessions are an hour in length and athletes are given plans to work on at home.


Cost is $65 per session or four sessions for $220
